2017 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards Nominees

Finally, the full list of the 2017 Africa Magic Viewers Choice awards is out and this year’s edition sees Bimbo Akintola getting a nod for the ‘Best Actress in Drama’ for her role as the late Dr Stella Adadevoh in the movie 93 Days.

The movie which is dedicated to the memory of Dr Stella Adadevoh of the First Consultants Hospital in Lagos, got 8 nominations last night, including Overall Best Movie. And coming alongside, is ‘76, which also got an equal amount of nominations.

Other notable feats of this year’s edition of the awards is comedian Bovi Ugboma who bagged a nomination for his delivery in the movie It’s Her Day, and actress Funke Akindele getting two nods in same catergory – Best Actress in a Comedy – for Jenifa’s Diary and A Trip to Jamaica.
