Akon Names Nigerian Cinematographer the Official Director of Konvict Music Africa

Akon has given Nigerian cinematographer, Patrick Elis a deal of a lifetime.

Yesterday, the legendary singer and activist who owns Konvict Music Worldwide took to social media to break the news, welcoming Elis as the Official Director the African branch the music company.

Before now, the award winning cinematographer, who reportedly studied Cinematography in the United States, had worked with notable names in the industry in Africa and Abroad. However, getting the position of the Official Director of Akon’s Konvict Music (Africa branch), is Elis biggest deal yet.

“You all know what this is – it is serious business,” the award winning singer said in the video posted on Instagram adding that Elis delivers “the best”.

“He is getting very expensive,” Akon continued, telling folks who knew Elis before that they might want to keep their relationship with the cinematographer because, “in a minute”, Elis go blow.
