DJ Neptune Presents 2014 Hot Soca Mix

World-renowned International disc jockey, DJ Neptune, has just released a new Mix tape titled 2014 #HotSocaMix.

The prolific Disc Jockey who was in Trinidad & Tobago to perform along side Timaya, Machel Montana, Major Lazer at the Machel Monday Carnival Concert that went down at Hasely Crawford Stadium, has put together some of the biggest songs rocking the Caribbean airwaves, night club and party scene in this Mix for your listening pleasure.

Soca is a style of Caribbean music originating in Trinidad and Tobago. It developed as an offshoot of Kaiso/calypso, with influences from Cadence-lypso, Soul, Funk and Indian musical instruments. The presence of a large Indian population in Trinidad blended traditional Indian musical instruments — particularly the dholak, tabla and dhantal — into a style called chutney music.

Soca has evolved in the last 20 years primarily by musicians from various Anglophone Caribbean countries including Trinidad, Guyana, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, United States Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, The Bahamas, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Jamaica, Belize, Montserrat and Panama.

DJ Neptune is one blessed International Disc Jockey who mixes different genre of music and still comes correct, so if you a lover of Soca/Calypso music, this is the Mix you been waiting for. And if you are yet to experience the vibes from the Caribbean Island, then it is a must you check out this Mix and get in the groove.
