Manchester United duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba have warned Premier League leaders Chelsea of a bruising tie when both sides lock horns at Old Trafford in a grudge match Sunday.

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea have already beaten the Red Devils twice this season, and Ibrahimovic believes Jose Mourinho was right to question his strikers’ preparedness ahead of the crunch match, Goal writes.

“I think he is right in this matter because I was not feeling good in the sense of I was feeling tired,” said the big Swede, who also recognizes that Sunday’s clash would be a tough one.

“I think they are a good team. Overall a good team and then of course they are playing once a week which makes a difference also because at the end of the season, I do not know how many games we have in total but I think we have much more than them.”

Zlatan’s teammate, Paul Pogba, meanwhile, believes Jose Mourinho’s men will be motivated by revenge when they face the Blues.

The France midfielder, who has endured a somewhat erratic season since his world record move from Juventus, says the Red Devils would dearly love to damage Chelsea’s title hopes and boost their bid to finish in the top four in the process.

“Well, this season Chelsea have beaten us two times and, obviously, we don’t want that to happen a third time. We want to win,” Pogba said.

“Obviously they are ahead of us, they’re playing for the title and, for them, it’s important to win this game.

“For us as well because we’re playing for the top four as well, so it’s going to be a game that’s really important for each team.

“We have to be focused and get ready and show them revenge, it’s revenge for us. So, let’s be positive about it and hopefully go and win this game.”

The 23-year-old further stated that despite their struggles this season, Chelsea’s remarkable turnaround should offer Mourinho’s side hope that all isn’t lost.

“They have a great team and everybody knows that,” Pogba said.

“They have a manager who pushes them and they have players who want to show the world that Chelsea are still alive and, last year, that didn’t happen.”
