Meek Mill Charged With Assault After His Refusal to Take a Photo With Fan

Meek Mill tried to pull a Justin Bieber on fans yesterday and this has landed him in hot soup with the police.

According to TMZ, the Philadelphia rapper got into an altercation yesterday with the police after he refused a fan’s request for a selfie. The incident reportedly took place at the St. Louis International Airport where he was waiting to board a flight.

Sources close to TMZ said an employee walked up to the rapper for photo but it ended up becoming a heated exchange that immediately escalated into a fight. The airport police was quickly called to the scene and Meek Mill and two airport employees were charged with misdemeanor assault.

Though the rapper was not immediately arrested, he was summoned to court. And this is not a good thing for the rapper who recently broke up with Nicki Minaj.

Recall that in February 2016, Meek Mill was given six more years probation for violating his parole. In 2015 the rapper attended the AMAs in Los Angeles without approval, and the court ruled that Meek Mill be placed on house arrest for 90 days, mandating that he also wear an ankle monitor from March 1. Also, Meek received additional 6 years of probation.

Now, he is in the net with the courts again and TMZ says that this recent altercation could be a violation of his parole.
