Mercy Aigbe Breaks Silence, Insists She’s a Victim of Domestic Violence

Mercy Aigbe has finally opened up on the trending marital drama surrounding her marriage to Lanre Gentry, and it is absolutely messy!

In a letter to her estranged husband shared on her Instagram today, the Nollywood actress admits she is a victim of domestic violence, and also threatens to slam Gentry with a lawsuit for slandering her on social media.

Recall that Gentry had denied the claims that he abused his wife and dismissed the battered face photos as BTS from her film project. However, he changed story after Punch confirmed that the actress had dragged him to the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs for investigation and possible prosecution for battery and assault. Now the hotelier, who reportedly is at large, was quoted in a recent interview, accuses his wife of being mental unstable and also alleges that she has been having affair with many men.

This was all it took to get Aigbe to speak up because she firing from all angles on her Instagram, and also threatens to slam Gentry with a lawsuit if he doesn’t back up his accusation with facts.
