The singer who admitted that she never expected to win the coveted award considering the kind of hits that was rocking the airways back then.
In her words, “it was so overwhelming for me, I cried that day driving the car on the streets of Lagos. I was driving a Rav4 then but that whole idea of my music transforming into what people could appreciate and earn me the award of next rated was something almost unbelievable.
