Queen Of Rap, Nicki Minaj, Clinches Major Modelling Contract
Nicki Minaj has added yet another feather to her already-decorated hat.
According to E! News, the Queen of Rap and actress is officially a model following the major management deal she just signed with the prestigious Wilhelmina International Inc.’s celebrity division.
“I love the synergy between my music and how it inspires my fashion. My message is always celebrating your own style,” said Nicki to Vogue about the deal, adding, “I’m thrilled and honored to have signed with Wilhelmina—they get me.”
And confirming the deal, Wilhelmina CEO Bill Wackermann added, “We’re thrilled to work alongside Nicki Minaj and her team. She is a style pioneer and icon.”
The 34-year-old rapper has long carved a niche for herself in the fashion world.
Nicki Minaj had before now, signed as the face of brands like Roberto Cavalli. She also has been photographed by fashion world’s top names like Mario Testino, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Also, the Pinkprint rapper has walked the runway.
Recently, the Trinidadian rapper made history as the female with the most appearances on the Hot 100 Hits, a feat that was previously held by the legendary singer, Aretha Franklin.
