
13 Brigade Nigerian Army Announces Amendment To Screening and Verification Exercise For Children Of Deceased Personnel Under Nigerian Army Education Sponsorship
The Headquarters 13 Brigade Nigerian Army, a formation under the 82 Division Nigerian Army, wishes to inform the general public of an amendment to the earlier scheduled Screening and Verification Exercise for children of deceased Nigerian Army personnel who died in active service, under the Nigerian Army Education Sponsorship Scheme for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
The exercise, which was initially slated to hold across geopolitical zones within Divisions and designated formations from 2 February to 6 March 2026, will now take place nationwide from 9 February to 13 March 2026.
Furthermore, beneficiaries and relevant stakeholders are informed that the exercise within the 82 Division area of responsibility, including all formations under the Division (13 Brigade Nigerian Army inclusive), will be conducted at Headquarters 82 Division, Enugu, from 14 to 17 February 2026.
Accordingly, all eligible beneficiaries within Cross River State are to take note of this adjustment and report to Headquarters 82 Division, Enugu, on the stipulated dates for the exercise.
This adjustment is intended to ensure a seamless, transparent, and well-coordinated screening and verification process for all qualified beneficiaries.
Parents, guardians, and beneficiaries are advised to present all relevant documents as previously directed.
The Nigerian Army, through 13 Brigade, remains resolute in its commitment to the welfare and educational advancement of the children of its fallen heroes who paid the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
