2 Brigade To Strengthen Ties With Other Federal Establishments In Uyo As Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Pledges Enhanced Synergy With AHFE

The Commander 2 Brigade Nigerian Army(NA)/ Sect 4 Joint Task Force South South Operations DELTA SAFE Brigadier General Jamal Ibrahim has promised to continue to sustain the existing synergy between the NA and other Federal Establishments in Uyo.

The commander made this pledge during a courtesy call by the Association of Heads of Federal Establishments (AHFE), led by the President Mr Uduak Obot to the Brigade Headquarters in Mbiokporo Cantonment, Uyo on 12 Friday, July 2024.

In his remarks, the Commander emphasized the importance of cooperation among federal establishments, highlighting that such collaborations are crucial for national security and effective public service delivery. He reiterated that the visit is a significant step towards a more integrated approach to public service and security in Uyo.

Furthermore, Brig Gen Ibrahim assured the team of the Brigade’s participation in the association’s activities. He also extended an open invitation for continued communication, signifying the Brigade’s commitment to fostering strong inter-agency relationships for the benefit of the nation.

Earlier, while stating the purpose of the visit, the team leader, Mr Uduak Obot expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and noted the critical role that the Nigerian Army plays in maintaining peace and security.

He enunciated that the visit is aimed at strengthening inter-agency collaboration and synergy in Akwa Ibom State. While Stressing that AHFE is committed to fostering strong relationships with all security agencies to enhance service delivery and ensure a secure environment for all citizens, the team leader expressed his admiration for the professionalism and dedication of the Nigerian Army personnel in the State.

Discussions during the visit centered on areas of mutual interest, including intelligence sharing, joint training exercises, and community outreach programmes. The duo recognized the need for a unified approach to addressing the multifaceted challenges facing the state, particularly in the area of security and public service.

Key moments of the event included the signing of the Visitors’ book, presentation of souvenirs and group photographs.
