2016 African Movie Academy Award Nominees List
The nominees for this year’s edition of the African Movie Academy Award (AMAA) have been announced and the list has Burkina Faso movie Eye of the Storm leading with 10 nominations, which is closely followed by Ayanda‘s 9 nods.
Another strong competitive category sees movie Fifty‘s actresses – Iretiola Doyle, Dakore Egbuson, Nse Ikpe Etim, Omoni Oboli – all cramped into one space, battling with fast rising actress Adesua Etomi and more from other African countries, for the Best Actress in a Lead Role.
The award ceremony will be held on the 11th of June 2016 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
