
301 Artillery Regiment Holds Special Church Service To Commemorate 2026 Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day
The 301 Artillery Regiment (General Support) in Gombe held a special Sunday church service today 11 January 2026 to commemorate Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day at the Saint Paul’s Military Church, 301 Artillery Regiment, Gombe.
During his remarks, the Commander 301 AR(GS) Col SO Beke, urged soldiers to remain steadfast and courageous in their duties, emphasizing that their sacrifice and dedication to serving Nigeria and protecting its territorial integrity will not be in vain.
The event, organized in collaboration with Operation Safe Corridor and 109 Combat Reconnaissance Group, featured a powerful message from Captain Rev Joseph Jesse Solomon, who emphasized the importance of discipline, courage, and strength in faith, citing Joshua 1:9. Captain Solomon further urged officers and soldiers to be courageous, faithful, and loyal in their service, saying these qualities are key to success in the military cycle.
The service began with prayers for fallen heroes and serving personnel, seeking divine support in addressing security challenges in Nigeria. The event was filled with joy as worshippers gathered to pray for Gombe and Nigeria, highlighting on the theme of this year’s interdenominational service which is: “Courage and Strength in Service”.
In attendance were Officers, soldiers and families of personnel who gathered to pray for the Armed Forces of Nigeria. The event also culminated with a group photograph.
