President NAOWA Dr Safiyyah Hassan Shaibu Reaffirms Commitment To NYSC As She Hosts FCT Coordinator
The President Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), Dr. Safiyyah Hassan Shaibu, on Wednesday 15 April 2026, reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to youth development and national service as she received the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Mr. Samson Ateli and members of his team on a courtesy visit to the NAOWA National Secretariat Abuja.
Speaking during the visit, Dr.Safiyyah Hassan Shaibu emphasized the critical role of the NYSC scheme in fostering national unity and shaping responsible young citizens. She assured the delegation of NAOWA’s continued support, particularly in initiatives aimed at improving the welfare, capacity building and overall development of corps members nationwide.
The President further reiterated the Association’s readiness to strengthen its collaboration with the NYSC, noting that strategic partnerships remain essential in achieving sustainable youth empowerment and national development. She expressed appreciation for the dedication of corps members serving across the country and reaffirmed NAOWA’s commitment to programmes that positively impact their lives.
