Philanthropist Keys Into Chief Of The Naval Staff Strategic Agenda, Donates Road To Naval Outpost Onitsha

In appreciation of the Nigerian Navy’s robust contribution to security in Onitsha, Anambra State, a philanthropist, Chief (Dr.) Anthony Ikenna Obe, has constructed a one- kilometer road to enhance mobility for personnel of Naval Outpost Onitsha and the host community.

The project was facilitated by the Commanding Officer, Commander K Yusuf, and was commended by the Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Suleiman Ibrahim, who conveyed goodwill from the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, reaffirming the Navy’s commitment to regional security.

Representing the Governor of Anambra State, the Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Somtochukwu Udeze, also commended the Navy’s role in maintaining peace and pledged continued government support for infrastructure development and collaboration with the Service.
