Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College Senior Course 47 Visit Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja

The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja, on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, hosted students of Senior Course 47 of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College during a historic study tour to the Centre.

The delegation was led by Colonel Fiifi Deegbe and accompanied by the Ghanaian Defence Adviser to Nigeria, Navy Commodore Emmanuel Koko Atioyao, as well as the Nigerian Army Headquarters representative, Colonel OJ Okwoli.

The visiting team was received by the Director General of NARC, Major General GJK Myam (rtd) OFR, alongside Executive Director Consult, Major General AOD Okoro and directors of the Centre. Activities during the visit included welcome remarks, presentation by Brigadier General LD Buba mni, an interactive question-and-answer session, signing of the NARC visitors’ book, presentation of souvenirs and a group photograph.

The engagement provided the participants with deeper insights into the activities and strategic contributions of the Nigerian Army Resource Centre in the areas of research, policy development, leadership training and national security discourse.

The visit further underscored the longstanding military cooperation and cordial professional relationship between the Armed Forces of Nigeria and the Ghana Armed Forces, especially in the areas of strategic studies, capacity building and regional security collaboration.
