A New Chapter Unfolds for NSITF: Hon. Engr. Sola Olofin Takes The Helm
Hon. Engr. Sola Olofin has been inaugurated as the Board Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), marking a significant milestone. The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, and the Director-General/CEO of NSITF, Oluwaseun Faleye.
During the inaugural ceremony, Hon. Olofin delivered a compelling speech, emphasizing the importance of protecting workers’ rights and promoting a safe working environment. His vision aligns with the NSITF’s mission to provide social security benefits to employees in the private sector.
Hon. Olofin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, having served as Board Chairman, Managing Director, and Executive Director of various organizations. He is also a fellow of the Charter Institute of Management Consultants and holds several professional certificates.
His appointment has been commended by various groups, including the Northern Youth Influencers and the BAT VANGUARD, who praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s decision as a demonstration of his commitment to competence and dedication.
As the new Board Chairman of NSITF, Hon. Olofin is expected to drive growth, promote safe working environments, and protect workers’ rights, ultimately contributing to the development of Nigeria’s workforce.
