Acting Commander Nigerian Army Education Corps Visits NAISET and NACOE

The Acting Commander Nigerian Army Education Corps (CC EDN), Brigadier General Yushau Dogara Ahmed conducted an assessment visit to the Nigerian Army Institute of Science Education and Technology (NAISET) and the Nigerian Army College of Education (NACOE), on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, at Headquarters NAISET, Sobi Cantonment, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The aim of the visit was to assess the level of preparedness of the institutions and to know their operational activities, challenges, and achievements. He also interacted with staff and students, inspected facilities, and held discussions with the management of NAISET and NACOE, seeking ways to enhance academic excellence and operational efficiency of the Corps, the institutions and the NA at large.

General Yushau Dogara Ahmed, commended the management’s efforts, urging them to remain dedicated and loyal, while assuring them support and improved welfare in line with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shuaibu’s Command Philosophy.

During the visit, the CC EDN was briefed by the Acting Commandant of NAISET, Colonel Abbas Abubakar and Acting Provost of NACOE, Colonel Prince Godwin Agbai on the institutions’ activities, challenges, and achievements. He also visited Command Children School Sobi, where he was briefed by the 22 Armored Brigade Education Officer (BEO) Captain Osarieme Obamiso, on the Activities of the School as well as the challenges and he promised to address them respectively.

Highlights of the event included; Inspection of Quarter Guard, signing of visitor’s books, presentation of souvenirs, tour of facilities and group photograph.
