Acting Commander Sector 4 Operation Hadin Kai Charges Newly Decorated Colonel On Discipline

The Acting Commander Sector 4 Operation Hadin Kai (Ag Comd Sect 4 OPHK) Brigadier General Amechi Agwu has charged the newly promoted Colonel to be more disciplined, committed and loyal to higher Authorities.

Brigadier General Agwu gave the charge during the decoration ceremony of Colonel Oluseyi Bankole held at the 23 Brigade Officer’s Mess on Tuesday 30 December 2025.

The Ag Comd Sect 4 said the newly decorated Colonel would be judged on four key aspects of his career, emphasizing that professionalism, disposition to troops welfare, effective management of resources and loyalty to the higher authorities would be key to his further progress in the job.

Brigadier General Agwu urged the newly decorated senior officer to brace up for the higher responsibilities associated with the promotion, saying the tasks ahead would be enormous, hectic and tough.

In his vote of thanks, the Acting Commander, Army Headquarters Logistics Base IV( AHQ Log Base IV) Colonel Oluseyi Bankole expressed his gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff for finding him worthy to be promoted to the rank of Colonel. Colonel Bankole also used the occasion to thank the Ag Comd Sect 4 OPHK for his fatherly role and support since his assumption of office as the Ag Comd AHQ Log Base IV.

The Event was attended by the representatives of the Heads of Security Agencies in Yola, Adamawa State, members of the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association, Chief of Staff Headquarters Sector 4 OPHK , Staff Officers of the Sector, among others .

Highlights of the occasion were decoration of the newly promoted Colonel, words of advice by the senior officers, pledge to the Mess and taking of the group photograph to climax the occasion.
