American Mayor Arrested for ‘Recording Minors Naked and Giving Them Alcohol

Yesterday, the Mayor of Stockton, USA, Anthony Silva, was arrested for playing strip poker with a minor and also providing young teens with alcohol.

The 42-year-old mayor was charged with one felony count of making an illegal recording. He as also charged with one misdemeanor count each of providing alcohol to a minor, cruelty to a child by endangering their health, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Investigators had found 23 photographs and four video clips relating to a youth camp, which had been taken between Aug. 3 and Aug. 9, 2015.

The videos contained audio of a conversation between the minors and other people involved in a strip poker game that occurred in Silva’s bedroom. The conversation between the participants reportedly indicated that they were naked.

Anthony Silva however denied the accusations.

Prosecutors alleged that the audio was recorded secretly, indicating that the participants did not want to be recorded. Witnesses also informed FBI agents that Silva provided alcohol to the poker game participants, all of whom were underage.

It was later discovered that Silva had cameras installed in his bedroom and at the Stockton Kid’s Club.

Silva was eventually released on $20,000 bail. Since then, the people of Stockton have asked that the mayor resign immediately.

Anthony Silva has had a lot of scandals trailing him since he resumed office in 2012. He was first accused of sexual battery by a 19-year-old woman after he was elected. Then he was sued for assault after getting into a fight with a limousine driver.

Last year, the mayor was linked to a murder case after his gun was stolen and used to kill a 13-year-old.
