Azealia Banks Ends Lengthy Feud With Nicki Minaj on Instagram

Azealia Banks has finally tendered an apology to Nicki Minaj after years of taking constant swipe at the Trinidadian rapper.

In one tirade in 2016, Azealia Banks body-shamed Nicki Minaj, told her to stop parading herself as the queen of rap, and compared her career to what McDonalds is to fast food. In 2015, Banks attacked Nicki for calling out the racism in the industry; Banks built her career on putting people down, and this has negatively ruined her chances at making a come back in the music industry. Of recent, she also dismissed chat topper Cardi B as a ‘poor man’s Nicki Minaj’.

Now, Banks has apologised for all the unkind things she has said about the No Fraudsrapper.

The 212 rapper reached out to Nicki via direct message on Instagram to apologise for everything she has said, and also to praise Nicki’s artistry and intellect.

“I really do enjoy your artistry and think you’re so intelligent and clever. You have a really brilliant art mind and often times remind me a lot of myself,” Banks said.

And Nicki Minaj replied her, urging her to concentrate on making music, and on what really matters.

“You’re very talented & very smart,” Nicki said. “Focus on what really matters from now on.”
