Bagudu Commends Tinubu’s Commitment to Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway
The Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his dedication to completing the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway Project.
Speaking during an inspection visit to the project site at Janzomo village near Birnin Kebbi, Bagudu highlighted Tinubu’s commitment to ensuring that no inherited projects are abandoned. He emphasized the administration’s focus on innovative funding solutions rather than blame games.
Bagudu also commended Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, for his rapid development efforts, reaffirming the project’s significance for Kebbi and Nigeria at large.
The visit, which included the Ministers of Works and State for Works, Engr. David Umahi and Alhaji Bello Goronyo, along with top government officials, underscored the federal government’s resolve to see the 1,068-kilometer highway completed on schedule.
