Intelligence gathered that bandits on Monday invaded Tsayau community in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing not less than four persons.
Sources say the incident occurred on Monday when the assailants invaded the community, shooting sporadically.
Four residents were gunned down during the incident and several residents were kidnapped.
It was learnt that the attackers also inflicted severe injuries on some of the residents.
