Bangladesh High Commissioner Visits The Chief Of The Naval Staff

On Tuesday 21 January 2025, the Bangladeshi High Commissioner to Nigeria, His Excellency Mr Masudur Rahman paid the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) a courtesy visit at Naval Headquarters, Abuja.
The visit was to further underscore the cordial relationship between Nigeria and Bangladesh.

The Ambassador recounted how both countries have consistently cooperated in military training for many years. He also stated that both the Nigerian Navy and Bangladeshi Navy have a lot in common and could mutually benefit from more cooperation in the area of indigenous manufacturing of Defence equipment and weapons.

In response, the CNS acknowledged that Bangladesh is a long standing partner of Nigeria. He assured the High Commissioner that more areas of mutual cooperation will be explored.
