Blue Print Newspapers Pays A Visit To The Chief Of Army Staff
The management team of Blue Print Newspapers has paid a visit to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, at the Army Headquarters, Abuja.
The leader of the team and Chief Operating Officer of the organization, Alhaji Salisu Umar commended the COAS for his exceptional leadership style in leading the Nigerian Army to achieve commendable successes in the war against Boko Haram terrorism and other assorted security threats across the nation.
He assured the COAS that Blueprint Newspapers will continue to collaborate with the NA in order to give accurate, balanced and objective reports of the Army’s activities.
According to him “In the light of the myriad of security challenges across the nation and the efforts of the NA to checkmate same, we will continue to support you through credible publicity in order to effectively and objectively project the good works of the NA”.
He Urged the COAS to do more to ensure the quick return of peace and security to the North Western part of Nigeria.
In his remarks, the COAS thanked the team for the visit and commended them for their interest in covering NA activities especially the objective and balanced reportage of NA activities in fighting insurgency and other associated security threats in Nigeria.
He used the opportunity to assure the public of the commitment and determination of the Nigerian Army to destroy terrorism and other security challenges. He expressed commendation to the Defence Correspondents for their tireless efforts and commitment to professional reporting of events in the North East, and urged them to continue to support the government and security agencies in the efforts to provide peace and security in Nigeria.
