Reports indicate that Boko Haram insurgents attacked Banki town, a community bordering Cameroon in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
The attack occurred in the early hours of Monday morning.
Intelligence gathered that the insurgents unsuccessfully tried to invade Amchide town in Cameroon, thanks to strong resistances from the men of the Multinational Task Force.
