Brazilian Hitman Opens Fire on Wedding Guests as Couple Walk Down the Aisle
A shocking video of a lone gunman called Betinho opening fire at wedding guests at a Brazilian ceremony has just surfaced on social media.
From the clip shared by Daily Mail, the man identified as Umberto Ferreira dos Santos (aka Betinho) is seen walking down the aisle behind the couple at a church in Alagoas, and then he pulled up his shirt, got out a gun and fired at point blank range, injuring three wedding guests – a father and son who were supposed to stand in as witnesses at the wedding.
The victims are identified as ‘Cicero Barbosa da Silva, 62, his son Edmilson Bezerra da Silva, 37, and his wife’. While Cicero and Edmilson underwent surgery, Edmilson’s wife was released after she was treated for the wound sustained from a bullet grazing her arm.
Daily Mail adds that Betinho reportedly was on a revenge mission over the death of his own son for which Edmilson was cited as the main suspect, a claim corroborated by witnesses who said the gunman accused the father and son of his son’s death before opening fire on them.
He is presently at large.
