
Brig Gen Enwuchola Assumes Office As The 23rd Commander Corps Of Medical
Headquarters Nigerian Army Medical Corps today witnessed a change of Baton when the newly posted in commander Brig Gen IA Enwuchola took over leadership of the Corps from Brig Gen SO Okoigi.
The outgone commander Brig Gen SO Okoigi in his valedictory remarks, was thankful for the opportunity to serve as albeit challenges, the corps has succeded in a lot especially the repositioning of NA hopitals. He thanked his family for their understanding and equally the staff Officers for their cooperation and support as he enjoined them to work as a team in ensuring a successful tenure for his successor. He further implored his successor to above all, ensure human capacity development through training and retraining of personnel.
In his speech shortly after taking up the mantle of leadership, Brig Gen IA Enwuchola thanked the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen W Shaibu for giving him the opportunity to serve. He described Brig Gen SO Okoigi as a great steward who gave selfless service and direction to the Corps. He urged the Officers and Men of the Corps to extend same support given to his predecessor. He pledged a tenure of fairness and promised to uphold and strengthen the foundations laid by his predecessor.
The high point of the event was the hoisting of the corps flag signaling a ne administration.
The occasion was witnessed by Directors, Chief Medical Directors of NA Hospitals, Commanders, Senior officers from the Medical Corps and other invited guests.
