The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, on 18 December 2025 commissioned key infrastructure projects in Kaduna aimed at enhancing training capacity, welfare, and academic excellence within the Nigerian Air Force. At the Air Traffic Services Training Centre (ATSTC), Kaduna, the CAS commissioned a 30-room Students Officers’ Accommodation, fully furnished, underscoring the Service’s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment for professional aviation training and capacity development.
Earlier, the CAS also commissioned major projects at the Air Force Secondary School, Kaduna, including a modern Administrative Block and a 1,000-seat Multipurpose Hall. The Administrative Block houses offices for the Commandant, Vice Principals (Administration and Academics), Administrative Officer, G&C, Pay Office, RSM, Heads of Departments, academic coordinators for both junior and senior sections, staff rooms, and an examinations office, designed to strengthen governance, coordination, and academic administration within the school.
The Multipurpose Hall, with a seating capacity of 1,000, is intended to support general examinations and a wide range of academic and co-curricular activities such as workshops, meetings, graduations, and competitions. The projects reflect the CAS’s focus on infrastructure-driven excellence, improved welfare, and institutional effectiveness, reinforcing Kaduna’s role as a critical hub for training and education in the Nigerian Air Force.
