Cassper Nyovest Slams Kanye West for Stealing His Floating Stage Idea
South African rapper Cassper Nyovest and his fans are having a field day dragging Kanye West on Twitter.
The drama started after Ye declared at his concert over the weekend that ‘niggas’ were stealing his ideas including the floating stage. The video went viral. Upset, Cassper Nyovest took to his Twitter to call out his American counterpart for making claims that aren’t true.
“Africa always gets the short end of the stick from you guys. I did this shit before Kanye. It’s documented,” he said.
Kanye West said niggas stealing his stage ideas but @CassperNyovest did the floating stage like a year before he did. How that work? pic.twitter.com/NImlfq0j1Q

Cassper, who last year surprised fans at his Fill Up The Dome concert by elevating his stage above the crowd, took to Twitter on Monday to rubbish the idea that Kanye was talking about him.
The Doc Shebeleza rapper claimed to have found US reports implicating him in the fiasco, but maintained that he had the idea first.
Woke up to my name on American blogs about how I possibly stole kanye's stage. We did this a year ago already. lol. Ya Neh. pic.twitter.com/OEJcgrkVNo

Of course, this is not the first time that Cassper has spoken out on the issue. The rapper took to Instagram, after Kanye first debuted his stage in August, to note that the star’s stage was “the very same concept” as his, and that it was a “great feeling” to have done it before his idol.
“Obviously the world will bug out more (be)cause it’s Kanye but it’s just a great feeling for me to do something before my idol. African child!!! This pic should show you that we are just as great!!! All we need is a platform!! #SameStageAsCassper,” the rapper said in an Instagram post showing the two stages side-by-side.
