Chairman Senate Committee On Navy Visits Nigerian Navy Ship Jubilee
On Wednesday, 22 October 2025, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Navy, Distinguished Senator Olugbenga Daniel, led members of the Committee on an oversight visit to Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Jubilee. The visit was to assess the Base’s operational readiness and infrastructure.
The team was received by the Commander, NNS Jubilee, Commodore Abubakar Abubakar Umar, who briefed them on the base’s operational activities and achievements. Senator Daniel commended the high level of discipline, cleanliness, and ongoing transformation within the base, while assuring that identified challenges would receive legislative attention.
Highlights included a guided tour of key facilities, presentation of souvenirs, and a group photograph.
