Chief Of Air Staff Reiterates Commitment Of Nigerian Air Force To Personnel Welfare
The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, has reiterated the commitment of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to the welfare of its personnel towards effective and efficient service delivery. The CAS stated this yesterday while commissioning 18 by 2-bedroom flats for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) at the NAF Base Minna and a transit accommodation for new recruits at 407 Air Combat Training Group, Kainji. Represented by the Chief of Administration, Air Vice Marshal Lawal Alao, the CAS stated that infrastructural development in all NAF bases has been given a boost to provide a conducive environment for personnel to discharge their statutory duties. The CAS also noted that the human being, as the most important resource, must be made as comfortable as possible towards increasing productivity, especially as the Service continues to battle with the nation’s contemporary security challenges.
The NAF has, in the last 2 years or thereabouts, witnessed the commissioning of several blocks of residential accommodation for its personnel across its bases in the country while more are undergoing construction.
