
Chief Of Air Staff Commends 407 ACTG For Strengthening Combat Readiness, Reaffirms National Security Mandate At Easter Luncheon In Kainji
Troops of the 407 Air Combat Training Group (ACTG), Nigerian Air Force Base Kainji, marked the Easter celebration with a renewed sense of unity, pride, and mission focus as they hosted the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, at a special Easter Luncheon organised in their honour. Represented by the Chief of Administration, Air Vice Marshal AA Martins, the CAS commended officers, airmen, and airwomen of the Group for their professionalism, discipline, and unwavering dedication to duty, noting that their contribution to force generation, combat training, and mission support remains critical to sustaining Nigerian Air Force operational readiness. He emphasised that personnel welfare and morale remain vital enablers of combat effectiveness, and reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to creating the right environment for troops to continue delivering on assigned tasks with excellence.
For the personnel of 407 ACTG, the occasion served as more than a ceremonial gathering; it was a strong demonstration of leadership presence, recognition, and institutional support.
