Chief Of Air Staff Joins Defence Leadership To Shape Strategic Direction At NDC Governing Board Meeting

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, participated in the Governing Board Meeting of the National Defence College in Abuja alongside the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, and other Service Chiefs, where key deliberations were held on strengthening strategic military education and enhancing national security coordination. The meeting which held on 2 April 2026 provided a vital platform for reviewing the College’s training objectives, aligning its programmes with evolving security realities, and reinforcing inter-agency collaboration in support of national defence imperatives. The session was hosted by the Commandant of the College, Rear Admiral Abdullahi Ahmed, further underscoring the institution’s role as Nigeria’s apex centre for strategic military education and national security thought leadership.
