Chief Of Naval Staff In Cape Town South Africa For Fifth Sea Power For Africa Symposium

The Nigerian Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla arrived Cape Town South Africa on Monday 14 October for the 5th Sea Power Symposium for Africa Symposium (SPAS) hosted by the South African Navy (SAN) in Cape Town. The theme of the symposium is “Good Order at Sea in the African Maritime Domain.” The SPAS brings together leaders of navies on the African continent and other maritime thinkers to forge a common cause for sustainable use of the seas.

Later today, the CNS is scheduled to deliver an address titled “Non-Traditional Maritime Security Challenges/Threats in the African Maritime Domain.”
