Chief Of Naval Staff Mourns Rear Admiral Sam-Sele (rtd), Assures Family Of Nigeria Navy’s Support
The Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, has condoled with the family of the late Rear Admiral AA Sam- Sele (Rtd).
During a condolence visit to the family in Yenagoa on Saturday, 28 February 2026, the Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Suleiman Ibrahim, expressed heartfelt condolences and described the late Admiral as a distinguished naval senior officer whose service and dedication made a profound and lasting impact on the Nigerian Navy.
The CNS assured the grieving family of the Nigerian Navy’s unwavering support and solidarity in this difficult time, encouraging them to find solace in their faith and in the honorable legacy of the late Admiral’s service.
