
Chief Of The Naval Staff Commissions Newly Constructed Block Of Six Classrooms At Nigerian Navy Secondary School Abeokuta
On 5 October 2025, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral EI Ogalla, Admiralty Medal, commissioned a newly constructed block of six classrooms at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School (NNSS) Abeokuta. The ceremony was performed on behalf of the CNS by the Chief of Administration, Rear Admiral Gabriel Martins Aligwe. The project reflects the Nigerian Navy’s continuous efforts to enhance educational infrastructure and support quality learning within its schools.
In his remarks, Rear Admiral Aligwe reaffirmed the Nigerian Navy’s commitment to promoting quality education as part of its human capital development drive. He noted that the new classroom block aligns with the CNS’s vision to provide naval personnel and their families with conducive learning environments and a strong academic foundation. Earlier, the Commandant of NNSS Abeokuta, Captain Oluwaseun Abiola Adesiyan, expressed appreciation to the Chief of the Naval Staff for his steadfast support toward improving infrastructure and educational standards across Navy schools.

Ofem Dick-Ubi, other senior naval officers, staff, and students of the school. The ceremony featured the formal commissioning and inspection of the new facility, marking another milestone in the Nigerian Navy’s sustained investment in educational excellence and infrastructural development across its institutions nationwide.
