
Commandant Army War College Pays Courtesy Visit To Naval Holdings
The Commandant of the Army War College Nigeria (AWCN), Major General UM Alkali, paid a courtesy visit to the Group Managing Director (GMD) and Chief Executive Officer of Naval Holdings Ltd, Rear Admiral ZS Muhammad, at the company’s headquarters in Asokoro, Abuja, on March 20, 2025. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between both institutions and explore opportunities for mutual cooperation.
During the meeting, Major General Alkali commended Naval Holdings Ltd for its strategic contributions to the College through its diverse portfolio of enterprises. He emphasized the importance of synergy between AWCN and Naval Holdings Ltd in fostering institutional growth and operational excellence.
The Commandant also highlighted the potential benefits of the partnership, including access to specialized research, resource sharing, and expertise that would enhance the College’s training programs and overall institutional development. He expressed optimism that a stronger relationship between the two organizations would lead to improved capacity-building initiatives for both parties.
In response, Rear Admiral Muhammad expressed gratitude for the Commandant’s visit and reaffirmed Naval Holdings Ltd’s commitment to deepening collaboration with AWCN. He further outlined ongoing projects and future initiatives that could align with the College’s objectives, particularly in areas of shared interest and institutional advancement.
The visit concluded with the exchange of souvenirs and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
