Commandant Military Training Centre Nigerian Air Force Visits Depot Nigerian Army Zaria, Seeks Inter Service Collaboration
The Commandant Military Training Centre (MTC) Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Kaduna Air Commodore Mohammed Lawal paid a Courtesy Visit to the Commandant Depot Nigerian Army (NA) Zaria Major General Ahmadu Mohammed today 25 September 2025 at the Headquarters Depot NA Conference Room Chindit Cantonment Zaria Kaduna State.
Speaking during the visit, the Commandant MTC NAF described the Visit as first in the history of the two institutions saddled with the responsibility of transforming civilians into Professional Soldiers for the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Air Force respectively.
Air Cdre Mohammed Lawal further stated that the purpose of his visit is to pay homage to the Commandant Depot NA Zaria on assumption of office as well as explore areas of mutual benefits between the two institutions. He added that his institution will be grateful if the Commandant Depot NA Zaria will consider a Joint Field Training Exercise for the Recruits of both institutions.
In his response, the Commandant Depot NA Zaria welcomed the Visiting Commandant and his team on their historic visit to the institution and promised to give him all necessary support in training and logistics.
The Visiting Team was later led on a guided tour of the Depot NA Zaria Ultra-Modern Indoor Simulation Shooting Range, Training Areas, Recruits Accommodations and other Training facilities.
Present during the visit were Staff Officers of the Commandant MTC NAF, Senior Officer and Officers of Depot NA Zaria.
