Commandant NACOLM Charges Newly Promoted Senior Officer To Add Value To The System

‎The Commandant Nigerian Army College of Logistics and Management (NACOLM), Major General Adewale Collins Adetoba has charged Lieutenant Colonel Adamu Ibrahim who was recently promoted to the rank of Colonel to continue to work hard and add value to system. He also used the occasion to urge other officers in the College to continue to develop themselves in order to proffer solutions to specific issues in the Army while discharging assigned tasks.

‎Major General Adetoba gave the charge during the investiture ceremony of Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim which was held at the Commandant’s Conference Room in Ojo Lagos on Tuesday, 9 December 2025. Colonel Ibrahim is currently the Acting Chief Instructor Military and Information Technology at NACOLM. He was decorated in a colorful ceremony with his new rank by the Commandant who was assisted by the Director Academic Planning and Quality Assurance of the College.

The Commandant ‎while congratulating Colonel Ibrahim on his well-deserved promotion, appreciated God for favouring him. He also expressed confidence that the new elevation would prepare the senior officer to take up higher responsibilities in the NA.

‎Speaking further, Major General Adetoba encouraged the senior officer to remain loyal, adding that a lot of responsibilities would be added to him. He also appreciated the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu NAM for his leadership and approval of the promotion.

‎Delivering his vote of thanks, Colonel Adamu Ibrahim expressed his appreciation to God for the grace to witness his decoration ceremony. He also appreciated the COAS for finding him worthy to be promoted. He further expressed gratitude to the Commandant for his exemplary leadership and support, assuring him of his readiness to redouble his efforts in discharging his statutory responsibilities.

‎Present at the ceremony were Director Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, Faculty and Administrative Staff, Deputy Controller of Custom, in Charge of M2 Bonded Terminal Apapa and his colleague.
