Commander Corps Of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Felicitates With Newly Promoted Senior Officer

The Commander Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (CCEME) Major General Adeyinka Adereti decorates Col AA Adejolu promoted from the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel, today 9 December 2025 at Headquarters Nigerian Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (NAEME) Victoria Island Lagos state.

In his remarks, the CCEME congratulated the newly promoted senior Officer on behalf of officers and soldiers of NAEME commending him for his dedication, technical expertise and commitment to duty. He noted that promotion in the Nigerian Army comes with increased responsibilities urging him to justify the confidence reposed in him through exemplary leadership and renewed service to the Army. He appreciated the family of the beneficiary for their undaunting support in the progress of his career and also encouraged the newly promoted senior Officer to continually uphold the values of the Corps and model discipline and an excellent spirit to subordinates.

The newly promoted senior officer Colonel Adebola Adesanmi Adejolu in appreciation, expressed sincere gratitude to the Almighty for making today a reality. He also thanked the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Waidi Shuaibu NAM, for finding him worthy of promotion. He pledged his unalloyed dedication to service of the Corps and Nigerian Army at large.

The event was attended by the acting Director Weapon Engineering, staff officers, officers and family of Col AA Adejolu. The occasion climaxed with a group photograph.
