
Commander Corps Of Supply and Transport Visits NASI: Reaffirms Commitment To Logistics Support
The Commander, Corps of Supply and Transport (CCST), Major General Nansak Shagaya, has paid a working visit to Headquarters Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI), where he was warmly received by the Commandant, Major General Frank Etim. The visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration and reinforcing logistics support for effective training at the premier Infantry training institution of the Nigerian Army (NA).
During the visit, Major General Shagaya commended the Commandant for his dedication and unwavering commitment to the training and professional development of NA personnel at NASI. He assured the school of his continuous support towards the realization of its mandate, stressing that logistics remains a critical enabler of effective training and successful military operations. The CCST reiterated his resolve to ensure sustained logistics backing for NASI’s trainings and exercises.
In his remarks, the Commandant, Major General Etim, expressed appreciation to the CCST for the visit and the consistent support provided by the Corps of Supply and Transport. He noted that such engagements further strengthen the synergy between training institutions and logistics hub of the NA.
General Etim reaffirmed NASI’s commitment to training officers and soldiers of the NA in all aspects of warfare, with particular emphasis on infantry manoeuvre. He further assured that the school would continue to leverage the indispensable role of logistics in all training activities and exercises to enhance operational effectiveness of NA personnel.
