Commander Corps Of Supply and Transport Visits Sector 3, Commissions Gymnasium

The Commander Corps of Supply and Transport (CCST), Major General Emmanuel Anaryu, has today 16 September 2025, paid a working visit to Headquarters, Sector 3 Operation HADIN KAI(OPHK) and Multinational Joint Task Force(MNJTF) Monguno. The maiden visit was part of his familarization tour to Supply and Transport formations in the theatre.

The CCST was received by the Acting Commander, Sector 3, Brigadier General Suleiman Tilawan , after which he proceeded to commission the newly established Sector 3 Gymnasium.

In his remarks, the CCST said that the visit was part of his familarization tour to the theatre to interface with his Officers and also obtain first- hand information on the logistics requirements of the Sector towards supporting her ongoing operations.

He expressed utmost satisfaction with the laudable initiatives executed by the Sector Commander aimed at improving the welfare of troops, urging them to make good use of the newly commissioned Gymnasium to keep fit.

Major General Anaryu further affirmed his pledge to ensure a rapid and robust support and cooperation in the areas of logistics, training of drivers and other supports for the Sector. While emphasizing on discipline as the bedrock of the NA, he charged troops to be professional and accountable in the discharge of their duties.

In a separate remark, the Commander Sector 3, Brigadier General Suleiman Tilawan described the visit as a morale booster to the officers and soldiers of the Sector. He observed that logistics is the backbone of every military operation and further solicited for increased support in the deployment of trained drivers to the Sector to enhance her operations.

Highlights of the visit were the commissioning of the Sector 3 Gymnasium, visit to troops on admission at Sector 3 Medical Services and Hospital, presentation of souvenirs, signing of visitor’s book, inspection of vehicles at the ST garage, address to troops as well as group photograph.
