
Commander Nigerian Army Women Command Conducts Familiarization Tour Of Formations and Units Within Abuja, Emphasizes Collaboration and Synergy
The Commander, Nigerian Army Women Command (NAWC), Brigadier General Mohammed Sani Adamu, on 4 February 2026, conducted a familiarization tour to formations and units within the Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment, Giri, Abuja. The visit was aimed at familiarizing himself with heads of the establishments towards strengthening cooperation, collaboration and solicit continued support to enhance operational synergy.
During the tour, the Commander visited key establishments, including the Nigerian Army Space Command, Nigerian Army Farms and Ranches Limited, Department of Personnel Management and the Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare School, among others.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration and institutional partnership in achieving the Chief of Army Staff Command Philosophy and the Nigerian Army’s strategic objectives and expressed NAWC’s readiness to partner with the visited formations and units in areas such as personnel management, capacity development, and cyber operations.
Brigadier General Adamu said the tour was also aimed at fostering mutual understanding and cooperation, leveraging expertise and facilities for personnel development under NAWC.
The visit highlighted the Nigerian Army’s commitment to jointness, innovation, and capacity building across commands, aligning with current operational needs.
