Intelligence gathered that several commuters escaped a bandits attack around Akoho bridge, along Abuja-Lokoja expressway, Kogi LGA of Kogi State.
The assailants opened fire on a commercial bus on Monday Tuesday October 26 while on transit on the Akoho bridge, along Abuja-Lokoja expressway, Kogi LGA of Kogi State.
Intelligence sources disclose that the driver who was conveying passengers from Enugu State to Abuja sustained a bullet wound on his left hand. The attack was however repelled by security personnel and the assailants fled into a nearby forest.
