COMMUTERS ROBBED AS CULTISTS CLASH IN KETU IKOSI

Commuters on their way to work were robbed on Wednesday morning during a cult clash in Ketu Ikosi. 

Intelligence gathered that violence between members of rival cult groups in Ketu began on Tuesday night ad continued into early hours on Wednesday. 

Sources say security operatives have arrived to restore peace in the Area. 

The incident occurred less than 48 hours after Governor Babjide Sanwo Olu signed a law prescribing 21 years jail term for convicted cultists. 

Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu signed the Prohibition of Unlawful societies and Cultism, 2021bill into law on Monday 15, 2021, to address the rise in cult violence in Lagos State.
