Comptroller Akpan of Imo/Abia Command Decorates Newly Promoted Officers
In a bid to celebrate the promoted personnel of the Imo/Abia Area Command Owerri, The Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Friday Akpan, held a decoration ceremony for its newly promoted officers on 5 February 2025.
In his speech, Comptroller Akpan congratulated the officers for their hard work and dedication, which has elevated them to a higher rank.
He urged them to be conscious of the responsibility attached to their new rank and always be of good conduct.
He said, “This is a wake-up call to all of you not to disappoint the leadership of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, and the Service at large”.
Also, the Comptroller of the Federal Operations Unit, Zone C, Owerri, and Comptroller Chukwuemeka Ugbagu encouraged the officers to make the service proud. “NCS is incredibly proud of your hard work and achievement; keep making a positive impact wherever you find yourself”, he advised.
