DG NARC Charges Newly Promoted Colonel To Uphold Discipline and Professionalism
The Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja, Major General JGK Myam (retired) OFR, has charged a newly promoted senior officer, Colonel J Adamu, the Director of Finance at the Centre, to uphold the highest standards of discipline, loyalty and professionalism in the discharge of his duties. The Director General General gave the charge on Wednesday, 15 October 2025, during the decoration ceremony of Colonel J. Adamu, with his new badges of rank at Hall C, TY Buratai Block, NARC, Abuja.
Speaking further, he expressed profound appreciation to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General OO Oluyede mni NAM, for finding the Director of Finqnce worthy of elevation. He also urged the newly decorated senior officer to justify the confidence reposed in him through renewed commitment, hard work and exemplary conduct.
The event featured goodwill messages and words of advice from senior officers. In his vote of thanks, Colonel J. Adamu expressed deep appreciation to the Nigerian Army for recognising his contributions and pledged to rededicate himself to duty and service to the nation.
