Diplomatic Correspondent’s Association Of Nigeria Congratulates General Christopher Musa On International Award

The Diplomatic Correspondents Association of Nigeria (DICAN) today extended its warmest congratulations to the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, for being honoured with the prestigious DICAN International Award of Dedication and Gallantry for Sustaining National/Global Peace. In a statement released by the association, DICAN expressed profound gratitude to General Musa for his significant contributions to peace and security, both within Nigeria and on the global stage.

“We most sincerely congratulate the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, for bagging the DICAN International Award of Dedication and Gallantry for Sustaining National/Global Peace,” the statement read. DICAN also acknowledged General Musa’s presence at their recent International Conference, where he was ably represented. “We also thank him for attending our International Conference through his able representative. The Major General’s presence added colour and quality to discussions at the event.”

Looking ahead, DICAN emphasised its intention to continue collaborating with the CDS. “We will not relent in always approaching you, sir, to tap from your wealth of experience in the course of our programmes, especially the forthcoming Trade, Investment and Business Networking International Conference and Exhibition scheduled for October 28th – 29th, 2025.” The association also extended an invitation for continued partnership, stating, “The CDS and his team should not hesitate to get in touch when our strategic services are needed. Once again, thank you so very much for honouring our event.”

The award recognises General Musa’s exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to fostering stability, a critical element in the current geopolitical landscape.
