Director General, Bureau Of Public Procurement Visits Chief Of The Naval Staff

On Friday, 29 August 2025, the Director General of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, at the Naval Headquarters, Abuja.

During the visit, Dr. Adedokun commended the Nigerian Navy for its commitment to transparency and accountability in procurement processes, noting that the Service has consistently upheld standards in line with national regulations. He emphasised the importance of collaboration between the Navy and the BPP in strengthening due process and ensuring value for money in public expenditure.

In his response, the CNS appreciated the DG’s visit and assured him of the Navy’s readiness to deepen its partnership with the Bureau. He reaffirmed that the Service remains committed to strict compliance with procurement guidelines in the execution of its operational and administrative responsibilities.
