Director Medical Services Pays Familiarization Visit To Naval Base Banda
On Monday, 8 September 2025, the Director of Medical Services (DMS), Surgeon Commodore MJ Salihu, paid a familiarization visit to Naval Base BANDA Lokoja, Kogi State.
On arrival, the DMS visited both the Commander Naval Drafting, Rear Admiral MY Dahiru and the Commander Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) LUGARD, Commodore T Senibo. The visit was to obtain first-hand information on the sickbay and health facilities in the area.
The DMS subsequently conducted an inspection of the sickbay, after which he held an interactive session with personnel of Naval Base BANDA at the NNS LUGARD Conference Hall. During the session, he briefed personnel on his mission as the DMS in line with the mission and vision of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla.
